When you think of infertility, funny isn’t exactly the word that comes to mind. But comedians John Murray and Silvija Ozols, from the popular improv comedy theater Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), decided it was time to elevate the conversation about infertility and find the funny in an otherwise tough journey.
John’s and Silvija’s new show “Infertile” covers the awkward, emotional, and unexpectedly hilarious situations that couples may experience on their path to parenthood, based on their own real stories.
In this interview with pregnantish, John and Silvija share how humor can be helpful, and why having to hear unsolicited advice generally isn’t, when people are having a tough time getting pregnant.
Check out their show at UCB Theater running now in New York City.
